Elijah Wood Gets Bloody In First MANIAC Picture
He's using those big eyes for evil.
Elijah Wood is no Joe Spinell (who is?), but it looks like he's bringing his own brand of psychopathic lunacy to the remake of Maniac - at least judging by this first image from the film. Elijah has these big, kind eyes - the sort of eyes you just want to swim in, you know? - and he's subverting them here to be actually frightening. I like what I see.
I'm not sure how much of Elijah we'll see in the movie, though - the film's intriguing gimmick is that it's all POV.
