Kripke, Abrams Team Up For NBC’s REVOLUTION
Eric Kripke, the creator of Supernatural, and J.J. Abrams, the creator of LOST and a bunch of other stuff, are teaming up for a new post-apocalyptic adventure epic called Revolution, greenlit on NBC just this week. The show stars David Lyons (The Cape), Giancarlo Esposito (Once Upon a Time, Breaking Bad) and Billy Burke (24), among others. It's a ramped up action drama about a group of survivors trying to find their loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have disappeared.
It sounds, eh, okay. And the cast is, you know, just fine. These pictures, however, are a hot mess. That group photo? WTF?! Are they on the Titanic?
Still, it's the combined brainchild of Eric Kripke and J.J. Abrams, and you know that sounds fun. I wonder if Kripke will find himself beholden to Abrams' whims, as Abrams is definitely the bigger name. Kripke had absolutely free reign with Supernatural on The CW, and he might bristle if he's restrained by a bigger ego. We'll see! These pictures are just so bad, though. Almost intriguingly bad.
