Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock Are Buddy Cops

Funny ladies Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock are set to star in a buddy cop movie from Bridesmaids director Paul Feig. Evidently Bullock will star as a highly strung FBI agent stuck in a tense professional relationship with McCarthy's wacky Boston cop. They have to work together to nab a Russian gangster who is as yet uncast. Viggo Mortensen?

I know that sounds kind of possibly super terrible, but I'm down for more Feig and more McCarthy wherever I can get them. I also think Bullock has the capacity to be very funny in the right role; she just so rarely chooses the right role. She was actually great in Miss Congeniality and The Proposal. Who knows if this is the right role for her - honestly, I hate the premise summary so much - but again, Feig and McCarthy have earned at least our partial trust.
