Presenting ED-209 From The ROBOCOP Remake
None more black.
This is the ED-209 from the upcoming remake of Robocop. I like to imagine that this design perfectly reflects the entire movie: pretty, updated and utterly pointless. The original ED-209 design is fine. I get that it has to be changed for the new version because dogs always gotta piss on trees to mark their territory, but this new version is just a blacker, busier, slightly less iconic version of the original.
The image comes from the first wave of viral marketing for the yet-unshot movie, which is in the form of an OmniCorp website. The site includes a look at a drone that will likely shoot at Robocop, as well as hints of Robocop's design. Looks like they made him black too. Cue Stormfront.
