Daniel Day-Lewis emerges in full-on Lincoln drag.
Entertainment Weekly has the first official shot of Daniel Day-Lewis in full Abraham Lincoln regalia for Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, to be released in November. And to utterly no one's surprise, he's astonishingly transformed, capturing not only Lincoln's uncommon appearance but also his gravitas.
Despite the ever-present rumors of Dan's method methods, Spielberg promises, "Daniel was always conscious of his contemporary surroundings,” so that's good. No fugue state either, apparently. Phew!
