Edgar Wright’s THE WORLD’S END Gets Lovelier With Rosamund Pike
The latest Wright/Pegg/Frost joint gets a female lead. And she's pretty!
Rosamund Pike was really wonderful in An Education. Her performance there made me see her in a whole new light, and that's why I'm psyched that she's joining the cast of The World's End, the latest collaboration between Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
The film is about a group of friends who attempt to replicate an epic pub crawl they undertook twenty years earlier, but discover that the fate of humanity hangs in the balance. There's no word on what role Pike will play, but if Pegg and Wright are good friends it's a part where she kisses Nick Frost.
