Man, this movie. This is the third trailer for Shane Carruth's Upstream Color (here's the first teaser and the second), and I find each one more maddeningly enigmatic and compelling than the last. The full trailer is riveting, elegant, absolutely gorgeous and weird as hell. I'm so, so into it. I could watch it a hundred times.
Here's the synopsis for the movie, which I imagine reveals essentially nothing about the film - and that's how it should be:
A man and woman are drawn together, entangled in the life cycle of an ageless organism. Identity becomes an illusion as they struggle to assemble the loose fragments of wrecked lives.
