Robert Rodriguez has been working hard on casting Sin City: A Dame to Kill For with a ton of familiar faces to help keep guys like me from criticizing it too hard upon first viewing. Along with tons of returning actors, the film recently stole Joseph Gordon-Levitt from Guardians of the Galaxy casting headlines and recently announced Josh Brolin as a replacement for Clive Owen's character, Dwight.
Today casting announcements continue. The Playlist claims the film can now add Juno Temple, Ray Liotta, and Jeremy Piven to its roster. We don't know who they're playing, but I bet you a million Spacebucks both Liotta and Piven get killed. I feel like Piven in particular might supply this film with its Nicky Katt.
Rodriguez has a very exciting 2013 coming up. This film comes out on October 4, while his Machete sequel comes out just a few weeks earlier on September 13. I'm more than a little curious to see how this new Sin City shapes up, considering how long it's been since the last one, how many characters have been recast, and how awesome/awful The Spirit was.
