Badass Digest Episode 18: Marvel Phase Two - IRON MAN 3 And THOR

A look forward at the next few years of Marvel Studios movies. Will IRON MAN 3 and THOR: THE DARK WORLD actually be any good?

I'm a Marvel guy. I won't lie about that. Growing up it was always the Marvel books that spoke to me, the Marvel characters I loved. So when Marvel Studios started making movies based on these characters - and started making them right - I was excited. 

Marvel Phase One was a mixed bag for me, but all was forgiven with The Avengers, a movie I can watch again and again. Now Marvel is about to enter Phase Two, starting with a bunch of sequels and leading to something big and cosmic in both Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers 2. This week I take a look at the first Marvel Phase Two movies, Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World, which are both sequels to films I didn't like that much. Will these new movies be better? And what is it to which the Marvel Movie Universe is building towards?
