Ryan Gosling’s Directorial Debut Calls A Doctor

It's sick because all the on-set hotness gave it a fever.

We don't know much yet about Ryan Gosling's writing and directorial debut, How to Catch a Monster. In fact, details are so scarce that I feel at liberty to go ahead and assume it will be a sequel to this movie.

Girls will see it, though, because they seem to Internet love Ryan Gosling the same way guys Internet love bacon (genders unite when it comes to Internet loving cats, I think). They may be put off, however, when they find out that Gosling's not actually starring in the film.

Luckily, Ryan Gosling is no dummy. If he can't cast himself, he can do the next best thing when it comes to attracting ladies: He got a Doctor Who. Not the crybaby one, and not the bald one. He got Matt Smith, the floppy one with Odo face.

I lied earlier. We do kind of know what the film's about. According to Variety:

Story is set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city and centered on a single mother of two being swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Production is set to start this spring.

I love Gosling for kicking of his directorial career with something you need words like "macabre," "surreal," and "fantasy underworld" to describe. Eva Mendes and Christina Hendricks also star in the film so dudes won't feel totally alienated and oppressed.
