Get ready to see Graceland, Ron Morales' chilling and magnetic Filipino thriller from Drafthouse Films. It'll be available on VOD platforms everywhere Thursday, March 28 and will open in New York, L.A. and Austin on Friday, April 26.

Graceland, which won an audience award and critical acclaim at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival, tells the story of Marlon Villar, a family man and chauffeur to powerful politician Manuel Chango. As Villar drives Chango's daughter and his own daughter home from school one day, a kidnapping attempt turns disastrous, and the two men are entangled in a terrifying and destructive scheme that leaves no one untouched.

Watch the trailer here:

Gabe Toro at Indiewire calls Graceland "mesmerizing," and Twitch Film says Graceland is “twisted enough to keep even the most seasoned thriller aficionado second guessing up to the end.” Jordan Hoffman at ScreenCrush says "The film is able to maintain a feeling of unique dread, quickly brushing aside comparisons to similar sounding films like ‘High and Low’ or ‘Ransom.’"

From the press release:

Graceland thrusts viewers into the corrupt underbelly of the Philippines’ capital, exposing a world of deceit, exploitation, and startling depravity. Written and directed by Ron Morales, a veteran of Michael Clayton and The Departed, this “vigorously breathless thriller” (Complex Magazine) depicts a desperate man’s infinite moral compromises amidst a tale of kidnapping gone horribly wrong.

Sounds intense, right? So gird up your courage and save the date, because you're going to want to see this movie. And you can download a free Graceland soundtrack sampler composed by Live Footage to sustain you until March 28:
