First Look At Wes Anderson’s GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL
Wes Anderson is just about finished shooing Grand Budapest Hotel, his follow-up to Moonrise Kingdom, my favorite film of 2012 not counting Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning and The Paperboy. (I didn't say the best film of 2012, so don't jump down my throat.)
The film of course has a massive cast of cool actors which includes Jeff Goldblume, Ralph Fiennes, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, and a ton of other people. Maybe even John Cazale will find a way to be in it somehow. In fact, the only person currently not in this film is Jim Breuer.
And now we have some photos to show off of the cast in their costumes! They all look totally normal and not at all quirky.
Here we have Ralph Fiennes standing in front of a car. I believe it is a taxi. He is wearing a coat of a color that single handedly sets off my color-blindness alarm. There's another guy back there with the same color coat. He might be famous too. So look at him.
This is Leonard Nimoy filming his cameo.
This is the hotel. I don't know if it was built specifically for Wes Anderson or if he just got lucky.
Here is Owen Wilson looking like Kevin Kline playing Errol Flynn playing Ned Zissou.
Here's a group photo featuring Jeff Goldblume, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, and Willem Dafoe.
And here's a video in which a lady wipes cold snot from Willem Dafoe's nose:
Looks good right? If you're so inclined, there are more photos and videos to be found at The Film Stage.
