I love the new red band trailer for Jordan Vogt-Roberts' The Kings of Summer, starring a veritable passel of stars we know and love, like Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, Kumail Nanjiani, Mary Lynn Rajskub and more. But the true stars of the show are the three teenagers (Moises Arias, Nick Robinson and Gabriel Basso) who decide to make the most of their summer by building a house in the woods, masters of all they survey.
Word is that Vogt-Roberts cut this trailer himself, and it does have a sort of intimate, unlikely vibe that makes it feel singular. Everyone who's seen the movie seems to be flipping over it, and I'm really eager to see it myself and review it in a couple of weeks.
