If you needed any more proof that Activision isn't taking their publishing deal with Bungie lying down, they've nabbed Jon Favreau and Giancarlo Esposito for their latest Destiny trailer. Entitled "Law of the Jungle," it features that familiar trope of an old person in the future telling metaphorical stories to a kid.
So what can we infer from this trailer, that's half live-action and half cinematic? A few things we've heard about before show up here. A three-player co-op experience? Incredible speeder bike sequences? A pistol with explosive rounds? Gigantic robot bosses? Yes please.
Anyone waiting for a look at the actual gameplay will get their wish during Sony's Playstation conference at E3 on June 10th. Remember - this game will be coming out for all platforms (Xbox 360 and PS3 as well) but Sony has a deal with them for exclusive PS4 content. Expect Sony to show some more footage from Bungie's past, if only to be able to feature Master Chief and flip off Microsoft once again.
