Danny McBride Animated Series CHOZEN Picked Up By FXX

Apparently the cable channel FX has branched out in a few different directions. Now there will also be an FXM, which just plays Fox movies, and an FXX, which focuses on original comedy television content. I'm assuming regular FX will just house all the serious stuff. It must have been really difficult deciding where they were going to put American Horror Story.

And now FXX has its first new original series. Chozen, an animated comedy from Danny McBride, Jody Hill, and David Gordon Green's Rough Pictures, will focus on a gay white rapper who just got out of prison. It was written by Grant Dekernion who will also voice the lead role.

He will be joined by McBride, Method Man, Nick Swardson, Hannibal Buress, and Bobby Moynihan in what I'm sure will be a family friendly animated series. Watch it with your momz.
