Elijah Wood’s COOTIES Casts Every Funny Television Actor Ever

There is a really cool-sounding film called Cooties that is just about to start shooting. Written by Saw and Insidious' Leigh Whannell and Glee co-creator Ian Brennan, Cooties is about a school where all the kids turn into violent, rampaging psychopaths (via infected chicken nuggets) and all the teachers have to somehow stay alive. So it mixes zombie stuff with the ankle-biting silliness of a Child's Play movie.

With that premise in mind, Deadline reports a long list of really funny people who have just been cast in the film: The Newsroom's Alison Pill, The Office's Rainn Wilson, 30 Rock's Jack McBrayer, LOST's Jorgé Garcia, and Saturday Night Live's Nasim Pedrad.

Cooties will be directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion and should begin filming Monday. Hopefully it ends up as good as it sounds. And by that I mean I hope it's gory as Hell.
