ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE Gets A Much Anticipated Trailer
It's almost enough to make you believe in a just world. This weekend the long-shelved You're Next hits theaters and it appears to be tracking well, which I think means you can easily follow it through harsh terrain after wounding it with an arrow. That = $$$, somehow.
But horror's other big rare game, Jonathan Levine's All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, is also getting a release after many years in movie purgatory. To prove it: We have a trailer!
I like it. I'm especially fond of horror films that utilize guns, and even more fond of horror films that utilize guns as stabbing weapons. Most of my interest, however, comes from the film's reputation more than the trailer itself, which seems good but also a little standard - though that kind of thing is probably difficult to avoid with horror films that actually want wide audiences. What do you guys think? I warn you, Ben Affleck is not involved in any way, shape, or form that I know of.
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane hits VOD September 6. Its theatrical run begins October 11.
