Of all the hot ticket items at Fantastic Fest every year, the Fantastic Debates may very well be the hottest ticket. (For instance, last year this happened.) It's a rowdy, raucous night where words and fists fly as two competitors duke it out on a certain topic, first by offering civilized debate and then by getting into the ring for a decidedly uncivilized boxing match. 

This year, the following topics will be debated by the below pugilists:

Debate 1:

RESOLVED: Sylvester Stallone is the Only Truly Great Action Star in Film History

Debate 2:
BRAD McHARGUE (@BradMcHargue) vs. JACOB HALL (@JacobSHall)
RESOLVED: 28 Days Later, Which is Widely Considered One of the Great Zombie Movies of the Century, is NOT a Zombie Movie

Debate 3:
NOAH SEGAN (@kidblue) vs. ANDREW TODD (@mistertodd)
RESOLVED: Good-Looking, Well-Adjusted People Have Infiltrated and Destroyed Nerd Culture

Debate 4 -- The Main Event:
TIM LEAGUE (@timalamo) vs. KEANU REEVES & TIGER CHEN
RESOLVED: Tai Chi is a martial art relegated to elderly Chinese women and is inferior in every way to Tae Kwon Do.

Yes, you read that last one right - the highlight of this year's event will be a Tae Kwon Do vs. Tai Chi debate. First Festival Director and founder Tim League will debate MAN OF TAI CHI director Keanu Reeves on the relative merits of Tai Chi, and then he will get into the ring with martial arts master and MAN OF TAI CHI star Tiger Chen.
