Guillermo Del Toro’s THE SIMPSONS TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XXIV Opening

It is apparently The Simpsons week here at Badass Digest. But rather than complain about the show, today's Simpsons story is about as awesome as they get.

This weekend The Simpsons will air yet another "Treehouse of Horror" entry in honor of, I believe, Thanksgiving, and they gave opening couch gag duties to none other than our main man Guillermo del Toro. It's as great as you'd expect.

Not to give all the gags away, but Del Toro riffs on pretty much everything he's ever done, so keep an eye out for Knifehead, the greatest Kaiju of the year. But that's not all. A couple non-Guillermo del Toro guests show up as well, and they should have you applauding and explaining them to your loved ones as if they cared.

In all, there's so much going on here that you get a little fatigued by the time it's over. And since the opening is online right now, you don't actually have to watch the episode that follows, though these "Treehouse" anthologies are usually pretty good.
