Jackie Chan has a good looking movie (Chinese Zodiac, or, CZ12) in theaters right now. But if you're anything like me, you haven't seen it yet because you're a big, dumb idiot who has no friends and smells like cellar onions.
While I do intend to see Chinese Zodiac at some point down the line, I may have to make a real priority out of Police Story 2013. This looks incredible.
Apparently, this film is not related to Chan's earlier Police Story films. Frankly, this looks unrelated to Chan, period. I'm not as well versed as I should be, but I've never seen the guy so grim. All he does in this trailer is get and give violence with an almost Takeshi Kitano-worthy daydream scowl.
Police Story 2013 was directed by Little Big Soldier's Shen Ding. I don't know when it comes out in America (December 24 for China, though) but I want to see it as soon as possible. Check out the poster:
