And that Vision will be played by Paul Bettany.

We all like to complain about how many characters are getting stuffed into The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but we generally leave Avengers: Age of Ultron alone even though its cast seems to get bigger by the day.

Along with Ultron, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch, Variety reports that the film will also include The Vision, played by non other than Paul Bettany. That's important because Paul Bettany plays Jarvis. That's important because Jarvis is Tony Stark's computer. That's important because without a computer, Tony Stark would have to use old school calculators and protractors and things like that.

So this obviously has really cool story implications. Plus, a sequel to The Avengers already has some pretty heavy doses of good faith going in that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (mostly) lacks. But if you're still worried that this is going to push the film into overstuffed territory, we here at Badass Digest (and by that I mean Devin) have heard genuinely awesome things about The Vision's involvement in the film.

This actually isn't all that unexpected, now that I think about it. I seem to remember rumors after The Avengers came out indicating that Agent Coulson would come back to life as The Vision. Thank goodness they put him on that hit TV show instead. Whatever it's called. I also remember people thinking this would be the character Vin Diesel was going to play. Thankfully Marvel's smarter than the Internet.

I honestly don't know much about The Vision. He shows up in a lot of Avengers comic books and had a thing for Scarlet Witch. He also looks really cool. That's all I got, and it's not even mine.
