PSA: Samuel L Jackson Is Not Laurence Fishburne
Wacth Samuel L Jackson go off on an LA morning TV host who mistook him for Morpheus.
Laurence Fishburne reprised his iconic Morpheus from The Matrix role in a Super Bowl commercial, and more than a few people on social media mistook him for Samuel L. Jackson. Today Jackson, going on LA's KTLA morning news show to flog Robocop, found that the interviewer mistook him for Fishburne.
"We don't all look alike!" Jackson yelled. "I'm the other guy. There's more than one black guy doing commercials. I'm the 'what's in your wallet' black guy. He's the car black guy."
This is probably better satire than anything in the Robocop remake (which I'm seeing tonight. Pray for me).
