Tomorrow I leave for SXSW, and naturally I'll be watching and reviewing movies and eating barbecue and tweeting a lot. But I'll also be on a panel, and if you're hitting up the festival and feel like dropping by, you should!
The panel is called "An Insider's Preview to the SXSW Film Festival," and it's this Friday at 3:30 in the Austin Convention Center, room 16AB. I'll be joined by Hollywood/Indiewire Editor-at-Large Anne Thompson, Fandango chief correspondent Dave Karger and Eugene Hernandez, Film Society of Lincoln Center's Director of Digital Strategy. We're going to talk about what films, panels and parties you should catch, as well as tips for navigating the fest and our ideas on the inclusion of television programming at SXSW Film. And I'll specifically be discussing festival etiquette, which is fun because I love telling people to be polite.
Also! I'm on a jury this year, the Midnight Shorts jury, and I'm more excited about that than I can say. I'm only at SXSW until Tuesday, unfortunately, but I intend to fill it with as many movies and as many tacos as humanly possible. Wish me luck!
