Want To See DJANGO UNCHAINED Recut Into A 4-Hour TV Miniseries?

So does Quentin Tarantino.

This is one of those Quentin Tarantino things that sounds great but might never happen. It's not really news. So don't get too excited.

But at a Cannes press conference held for a big Pulp Fiction 20th anniversary shindig, Tarantino revealed that he still has about 90 minutes of deleted scenes from Django Unchained and that he would love to put them all back into the film, thus turning his already epic film into a for real behemoth.

The idea would be to put this Django UnUNchained on television as a miniseries event rather than into theaters as a bladder destroying massacre. And by television, I'm sure he means HBO, a channel that does not consider itself television.

That would be so, so great. But it also sounds like yet another Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, a wonderful idea that does little more than torture impatient Tarantino fans. I would certainly jump at the chance to see a 4-hour long Django Unchained miniseries, but I'm also not going to hold my breath.
