New TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Trailer Is Pretty Much All Turtle Action

If you're going to go with a weird character design, might as well flaunt it. That's exactly what we get with this new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer. Tons and tons of turtle lips.

It's possible that I'm finally starting to get accustomed to the way these turtles look. Instead of weird, almost scary things, they now just look like blobs of kiddie fun to me. I can't figure out if kiddie fun is what this movie is going for, however. The trailer bounces back and forth between super series and goofy many times. I do know that when it's goofy, the jokes are pretty bad.

But we do get to see the turtles. And we get to see Shredder's knife hands. And we get to see Splinter die. So all in all, it supplies a pretty heavy dose of what this movie offers. You could probably get away with not seeing it at all after this.

But if you do still want to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, you'll have to wait until August 8.
