KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE And POLTERGEIST Get Date Changes As Well

It’s Hollywood musical chairs day!

It is possible you either forgot or did not know about Kingsman: The Secret Service*. This is the new Matthew Vaughn film. It’s the one where Colin Firth plays a badass. Yes, I want to see it too.

But we’re all going to have to wait! According to The Wrap, Kingsman, which was supposed to come out this October, has instead been pushed back to February of next year where it will compete against Fifty Shades of Grey and give ladies one of the harder decisions they’ve ever and to face: Firth or Filth.

Why did this happen? Well, Kingsman is occupying the slot formerly held by Gil Kenan’s Poltergeist remake, which now will not come out until July 24, 2015. So perhaps Poltergeist isn’t as done as anyone hoped, and having a prime February spot left open, Fox decided to plug it with Kingsman. Or maybe it is Kingsman that needs more time. Who knows? I just work here.
