Grumps love to complain about too many superheroes on the big screen, but they’re getting a lot more prevalent on the small screen as well. We already have two Marvel shows on top of the hundreds of DC shows on the air. But that's not all! You also have to watch ads for the big screen superhero films every commercial break. Grumps should be getting on that shit asap.
Now it looks like another comic book property could be hitting television, and it’s a big one. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox is currently in early talks to bring a live-action version of X-Men to TV. Producers Evan Katz and Manny Coto are involved along with writing duo Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne.
This is all very early. Marvel still owns the comic rights and has to has to okay the project. Nevertheless, a live-action X-Men show in the current television climate makes a lot of sense. I can’t wait to see my favorite mutants dressed in expensive street clothes and barely using their powers. Who wants to bet the main character will be Jubilee?
