Luke Evans Is Off THE CROW
Like James McAvoy, Mark Wahlberg, Bradley Cooper and Channing Tatum before him, Luke Evans has departed the hapless remake of The Crow, which recently attracted Corin Hardy as director, upon Edgar Wright's recommendation.
The Hallow, Hardy's feature directorial debut, arrives this year, which will make The Crow his second film - assuming it ever gets made, and assuming Hardy's still attached by the time it does. I can't even begin to tell you how many people have worked on this script, but it seems like Cliff Dorfman's the most recent. Nick Cave and The Crow creator James O'Barr have also been involved. Former directors include Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and F. Javier Gutierrez.
So basically no news of The Crow is ever certain, and I don't know why we even bother reporting it!
