Yesterday, Netflix released the teaser for the limited 8-episode series prequel to David Wain's perfect comedy Wet Hot American Summer, and two things are confirmed here: first, that the whole gang is returning (I mean, that's everyone, right?), and second, that it will take place three months before the events of the 2001 film.
Wet Hot American Summer is set on the last day of camp at Camp Firewood in the summer of 1981. So this:
is how I did that math. Or maybe we all already knew that and my investigative skills are for naught. Either way, I'm excited to see actors in their 40s and 50s play teenagers, because that sounds even funnier than watching actors in their 20s and 30s playing teenagers.
