We’re Finally Getting An ADVENTURE TIME Movie

I believe there are people out there who have not seen Adventure Time. I have a much harder time believing there are people out there who have seen Adventure Time but don’t like it. A lot of animated shows are touted as fun for kids and adults alike. Adventure Time might represent the very best of how that combination can work.

So it’s nice to know that such a great show is actually popular. Not just a little popular, either, but popular enough to finally get its own movie. Deadline reports that an Adventure Time feature film is being developed at Warner Bros.

We don’t have any information on who will write or direct, but the film will be produced by Chris McKay, director of The Lego Batman Movie, and Roy Lee, producer of The Lego Batman Movie. Nevertheless, it’s doubtful Adventure Time will look like The Lego Batman Movie, aside from the fact that it will be animated. Unless it decides that it wants to look like The Lego Batman Movie just for the heck of it. This is a show that does pretty much whatever it wants, anyway.
