Helen Mirren Wants To Be A “Mad Driver” In A FAST AND FURIOUS Film

Also, she kinds of has a thing for Vin Diesel.

We all know Helen Mirren is awesome. She always has been and she always will be. And the bar for exactly how awesome she can get just got raised higher than Tyrese’s forehead.

In an interview with Yahoo about her new drama, Woman in Gold, Mirren went off on a fun tangent about how much she adores the Fast and Furious films:

My great ambition is to be in a Fast and Furious movie. I so want to be a mad driver in a Fast and Furious movie. My claim to fame is I always do my own driving — I was on Top Gear, and I did [my lap] in a very good time. I keep putting it out there, and they never ask me. I’ll be in Fast and Furious 8. I have to say Vin Diesel is brilliant. I love Vin Diesel. He’s a great guy, smart — I love him. It’s partly because of him I’d like to be in one, but also the driving. I’d also love to do another Red-type movie, because those are such fun to do.

In a life filled with so many big wins, this is her “great ambition.” I think it’s safe to say that pretty much everyone reading this would be all for Helen Mirren in a Fast and Furious movie. And if you think about it, there’s really no reason she can’t play Luke Evans and Jason Statham’s mom. Seems like perfect casting right there.

Also, as if we weren’t jealous of Vin Diesel enough, it kind of sounds like she’s say yes if he asked her to prom.
