I don’t know how many articles I’ve started this way, but poor The Crow. Poor poor poor The Crow. This unfortunate movie (take that word as many ways as you please) has had such a hard, public time getting made. If it ever does come out, I promise to see it and initiate a (probably solo) slow clap upon its conclusion.
Anyway, Variety reports that Jack Huston, the guy who was going to play the main mime when Luke Evans quit, has also quit, supposedly due to scheduling issues, probably something along the lines of “I don’t have time for this shit.”
So now the project is back to square one, actor-wise. They are apparently looking at Nicholas Hoult and Jack O’Connell, but that might not mean anything. The article also says they are looking at Forest Whitaker for a role as well. If HE’S the new Crow, I will poo my pants.
