Ben Wheatley’s High-Rise is one of the movies I’m most looking forward to this fall. Based on the JG Ballard novel (that I never finished because my Kindle bit the bullet while I was reading it), High-Rise tells the story of a guy who moves into an ultra-modern, mostly self-contained apartment complex which ends up developing a really bizarre and serious social structure that ultimately explodes into all-out warfare.
The film stars Tom Hiddleston, Elisabeth Moss, and Jeremy Irons. I’m not lying. Don’t believe me? Ha! I have photos to prove it:
See? You just saw a picture of Jeremy Irons and a picture of Tom Hiddleston (though i think he looks kind of like Michael Fassbender) and Elizabeth Moss. I will accept your apology in Fury Road Blu form, thank you.
These photos come from the film’s official Twitter feed. Unfortunately, the film still has no US distributor, but it is playing Fantastic Fest later this month.
