Lego Batman may not generate the same amount of excitement and scrutiny as, say, Batman V Superman, but that doesn’t mean it won’t end up being the better movie. So far, it boasts Will Arnett returning as the Caped Crusader along with Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, and (hopefully) Zack Galifianakis as the Joker. That's a pretty good start. Now the film has its Alfred.
The Hollywood Reporter claims Ralph Fiennes will supply the voice for Batman’s patient and put-upon man-servant, Alfred Pennyworth. Fiennes joins ranks with recent Alfreds such as Michael Caine and Jeremy Irons. Put the three of them together, you could really have yourself a kick-ass old man action film.
The Lego Movie’s animation supervisor, Chris McKay, will direct the film, which should hit theaters in 2017.
