ALIEN: COVENANT Begins Crewing Up, Starting With Katherine Waterston

Naomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender are going to be in Ridley Scott’s Prometheus sequel/Alien prequel, Alien: Covenant, but they won’t be the main actors involved since the plot (what’s known about it so far, anyway) focuses on a whole different crew of soon-to-be dead people. But who will play those people?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the main member of that crew will be played by Katherine Waterston, who you may remember from Inherent Vice and Steve Jobs. Waterston will also appear in the upcoming Harry Potter-ish movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, so her 2016 is looking pretty swell.

Of course, not much else is known at this point, though the THR story claims Waterston and her crew will battle an actual Alien alien on their journey, which surprises me. Looks like this movie won’t just be about roided-out albinos after all.
