Acclaimed Restaurateur Uwe Boll Begins Filming A Movie Or Something

Have you guys been to Bauhaus yet?

In a shocking turn of events, acclaimed restaurateur Uwe Boll is taking a break from Bauhaus, his highly-praised venture into the fine dining scene, to get back behind the camera for Rampage 3: No Mercy. The film will apparently close out a trilogy that was started back in 2010 and continued in 2014, but that's really neither here nor there. What's important right now is, Uwe Boll opened a restaurant in Vancouver called Bauhaus.

Here's the news, as breathlessly reported in the press release we just received:

Uwe Boll announces that he is directing his last movie: the thrilling conclusion of the trilogy "Rampage 3: No Mercy" now in production in British Columbia & Washington D.C.

Boll plans to focus on his co-producing and global distribution company Event Film and his highly-praised fine dining venture Bauhaus Restaurant in Vancouver.

For immediate release: Vancouver, BC January 6th, 2015 - Amidst his highly-praised venture into the fine dining scene by opening Bauhaus Restaurant, acclaimed director Uwe Boll has not put down the movie camera. Uwe is currently on location in beautiful British Colombia (Langley and Maple Ridge) and Washington, D.C. to film the anticipated Rampage 3: No Mercy during the first weeks in January...

...

In addition, as many of his fans know, Uwe's other passion is his newly opened and universally praised Bauhaus Restaurant located in the trendy Gastown district of Vancouver. Opened for less than a year, Bauhaus is already at the cutting edge of fine dining, delivering innovative techniques, fresh flavours, and exceptional service to downtown Vancouver. The menu, designed and prepared by world-renowned Michelin Star chef Stefan Hartmann, reflects a contemporary approach to traditional German cuisine and brings a new style of dining to Canada's west coast. Buried within this exciting press release is further information about Rampage 3: No Mercy, along with the news that Boll's Event Films has secured acquired the rights to a film called King Cobra (starring James Franco, Alicia Silverstone, Molly Ringwald and Christian Slater), but again: who gives a shit? Let's take a look at some photos from Bauhaus.

Here is some food you could order, were you dining at Bauhaus.

Here is what it would look like if your server left a precariously-balanced menu on the edge of your table at Bauhaus.

Here is an example of the decor you will find if - nay, when - you visit Bauhaus, located in the trendy Gastown district of Vancouver.

This is an exciting turn of events for Uwe Boll, and we look forward to visiting Bauhaus the next time we are in Vancouver, BC.

Probably aren't gonna see those movies, though.
