He’s right, of course (especially about Tom Noonan). Anomalisa may star a bunch of inanimate objects, but that doesn’t mean it’s gimmicky or shallow or lacks heart. The film’s themes are deep and should resonate with anyone who sees it. This is not one you want to miss.
