HBO’s ANIMALS Looks Hilarious, Adorable, And Kind Of Disturbing

The Duplass Brothers get their very own adult animated series.

On February 5th, HBO's rolling out Animals, an adult animated series from the Duplass Brothers. A new trailer for the series arrived online today, and while your mileage may vary, it's hitting me right in the adorable/hilarious/subtly-disturbing sweet spot.

Check it out:

This isn't the first time HBO's dipped its toe in the "cartoons for adults" pool, and while their track record on that front is somewhat spottier than the one they've enjoyed with live-action programming, the talent involved here bodes very well, indeed. In addition to the Duplass Brothers, the show features vocal performances from (deep breath) Kumail Nanjiani, Ellie Kemper, Nathan Fielder, Rob Corddry, Molly Shannon, Paul Scheer, Horatio Sanz, Nick Kroll, Marc Maron, Wanda Sykes, Adam Scott, Ben Scwhartz, Eric Andre, Jessica Chastain and many, many more. That's how you murderer's row, folks.

Animals premieres on February 5th. Birth.Movies.Death.'s adult comedy/pet enthusiasts are very much looking forward to it.
