Which Marx Brother Will Hulk Sound Like In THOR RAGNAROK?

Seriously though, a Hulk with Chico’s voice would be something to see.

We know we’re going to get something of a buddy-cop road movie between Thor and the Hulk in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok. There have also been indications that the Hulk and Bruce Banner we get in the film will be a bit less separate personality-wise than he has been in the past. So the obvious question this brings up is whether or not the Hulk will talk much in the film.

Director Taika Waititi got into this a little in an interview he did over at HitFix:

It’s interesting, because at the moment, there’s a big conversation that’s happening about how far to push that. Whether or not The Hulk should be [verbal/conscious]… I think a lot of those conversations have more to do with what’s going to come up in future movies. So I think a lot of those decisions are larger group decisions, rather than anything to do with just me or the writer. They have a lot of stuff that they have to consider. But I do think that’s the best way to track it. I think we all want that. I think we all want to see that development and the evolution of that character. I also think you can do it in a fun way.

My read on this is that we’ll probably have a more verbal Hulk by the time the Infinity War films come out, but in the meantime he’ll probably keep holding his tongue. He might have a few lines in Ragnarok, but I doubt he and Thor will enjoy a witty Midnight Run rapport. We probably won't get Hulk's full-on My Dinner with Andre movie until Phase Four.

Honestly you probably already guessed that, though. I mostly just wanted to write this story so I could use that headline.
