We know that Ridley Scott’s upcoming Alien: Covenant will focus on killing a whole new spaceplane crew, but we don’t yet know who will be on that crew, other than Katherine Waterston and Danny McBride.
But slowly we are getting there. Today the film adds The Hateful Eight’s Demian Bichir to its ranks. Bichir was hilarious as Bob in Tarantino’s movie, and I doubt I’m alone in wishing I could have seen more of him. I’ll just have to settle for seeing him get mauled to death in this film instead. Hopefully he gets off some good lines before that happens.
As I’ve said many times before, Prometheus is a very intriguing bad movie that I can’t help but enjoy despite its many flaws. While the loss of Noomi Rapace, dampens my excitement for this weird sequel/prequel a bit, I’m still looking forward to whatever alien madness Ridley Scott wants to throw at us. And so far, his casting decisions have been interesting to to say the least.
