Nicolas Cage Is A Blast In Trailer For THE TRUST

One thing is certain - you never count out Nicolas Cage. I don’t care how long it’s been since you saw him really bring it. I don’t care how many DTV films the guy makes. When it’s time for him to hit, the guy brings it.

It looks like people lucky enough to attend this year’s SXSW will get to see that axiom in action with the premiere of The Trust, which now has a very exciting trailer:

When we last heard about The Trust, it co-starred Jack Huston instead of Elijah Wood and sounded a lot more like a straight crime film than the comedy-drama we have here. Things do appear to get a little serious as the trailer concludes, but for the most part this looks like a lot of fun. More specifically, it looks like Nicolas Cage is having a blast, which is always a good thing.

For those unable to see this next week, don’t lose hope. The rest of us get to check it out May 13.
