LETHAL WEAPON TV Series Gets Its Riggs

It took a while, but Fox’s Lethal Weapon TV series pilot finally has its Martin Riggs. His name is Clayne Crawford, and you might know him from a SundanceTV show called Rectify. I don’t have that benefit, so he’s a total unknown quantify to me.

I will admit, however, that if you search for picture of him, he looks much cooler with facial hair than without. Hopefully they give him a beard or something because he seems way too babyfaced to play a nutso suicidal cop, as much as they even plan on him being a nutso suicidal cop.

Crawford will act opposite Damon Wayans, Sr. who gets to play Roger Murtaugh. I honestly don’t have a lot of faith in Lethal Weapon as a television series, but I am curious to see how it all turns out, anyway. Of course, they are only making a pilot, so maybe I’ll never get the chance.
