Let's get this out of the way: Birth.Movies.Death. is not going to be running any dipshit April Fool's Day posts today.
We will, however, provide you with the video below, which feels a lot like an April Fool's Day prank...but is apparently a thing that actually happened (yesterday). Check it out:
What's going on here? Entertainment Weekly explains:
Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and currently stars as Hank Williams in I Saw The Light, stepped in on Chicago 32 to provide some commentary on a string of bad weather throughout the Midwest.
This feels like a strange stunt to be pulling in service of any film Hiddleston currently has on-deck, but who cares? Hiddleston - as Tumblr has been telling us for years - is the living embodiment of charm, and it's good fun to see him playing around with the Loki persona. He's having a ball! Not to turn this into yet another Marvel VS DC thing, but try and picture Henry Cavill showing up to a local news taping and, I don't know, playfully snapping the necks of the people behind the anchor desk. You can't do it!
Anyway, this is as close as we're gonna get to an April Fool's Day post today. Enjoy it, and please share with your friends on Tumblr.
