Emilia Clarke Curb Stomps Her Involvement In More TERMINATOR Movies

Time to get another new Sarah Connor.

Before Terminator Genisys came out and failed to set the world ablaze, the plan was for it to kick off a new trilogy of old man Arnold Terminator movies. Obviously, sequel talks have cooled since then, but every once in a while (though not for some time now), someone pops up to claim they might still go forward with this very bad idea.

Not Emilia Clarke. When asked by Coming Soon if she was planning on returning to her role as Sarah Connor, Clarke made things pretty clear:

No. Can I say that? It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up.

In the carefully-worded world of Hollywood, that dismissal seems especially definitive. Which means if they do go forward with more Terminator films (and they won’t, particularly as a continuation of whatever they were up to in Genisys), they’re going to have to find themselves a new Sarah Connor. That all probably goes without saying. I mostly just like her quote. I hope Jai Courtney takes it well.
