The Trailer For UnREAL Season Two Is Here!

"The two of you together are terrifying."

Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro's UnReal is one of the best and most feminist shows on television (I reviewed Season One here), and I've been extremely antsy for the return of Quinn and Rachel's ferocious exploits. Today, we get our first trailer for Season Two, in which Everlasting does something the show it's skewering has never done: debut a black suitor (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s B.J. Britt).

This trailer is only thirty seconds long, but they manage to squeeze an immense amount of drama into those thirty seconds. It's great to see the previously conscience-burdened Rachel (Shiri Appleby) lean into what they're doing at Everlasting - "We don't solve problems. We point cameras at them." - because if Rachel's embracing her job instead of constantly fighting it, she and Quinn (Constance Zimmer) truly will be "terrifying."

UnReal Season 2 debuts June 6th on Lifetime. Strap in.
