Behold, The First Trailer For FALLOUT 4: FAR HARBOR

Get ready to head back into the wasteland.

You guys still playing Fallout 4? Well, if you aren't, you're about to be.

This is the first trailer for Fallout 4: Far Harbor, which promises to be the biggest, most elaborate DLC pack ever created for a Bethesda game. That probably explains the $25 price tag (for reals, I'm not even mad).

Here's the official plot description:

In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?

The early word on Far Harbor had me expecting something along the lines of Fallout 3's classic Point Lookout DLC, perhaps with a Lovecraftian twist (to be fair, I'm pretty much always hoping for things to have a Lovecraftian twist), and the trailer above seems to support that expectation to some degree: you've got swamps with creatures lurking just under the water, creepy trees strewn with moss, rotting sea life.

But the island of Far Harbor looks far more populated than the one we explored in Point Lookout, and this also feels less like a horror joint than I expected.

No matter. I will be there day one (note: I'm particularly excited to see my boy Nick Valentine making a comeback). Just need to finish off Dark Souls 3 between now and then. Piece of cake.
