Look, I don’t know why anyone would be excited for a new Power Rangers movie. Even with someone as great as Elizabeth Banks playing the villain, this isn’t a series that has anything going for it beyond nostalgia.
The good news is there’s not a lot to ruin. Keep that in mind as you ogle these new costumes:
They’re ugly, but I kind of appreciate the nerdy way they’re ugly. They make the Power Rangers look like another film’s villains.
The idea is that the costumes are alien constructs which grow onto the Rangers’ bodies, which if you ask me should mean nips and wee-wees all over the place, but they did not go that route. For shame.
