According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new noir thriller by the name of Terminal is rounding up quite the cast.
The film, written and directed by Vaughn Stein, already had Max Irons and Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels' Dexter Fletcher onboard, but now it's added Mike Myers (Inglourious Basterds, The Cat In The Hat), Simon Pegg (the forthcoming Star Trek Beyond), and Margot Robbie (Wolf Of Wall Street, the also-forthcoming Suicide Squad) to the cast. That's quite a lineup!
Less impressive is The Hollywood Reporter's plot description:
Terminal follows two hit men (Fletcher and Irons) as they embark on a borderline suicide mission for a mysterious employer and a large paycheck. Along the way, the unlikely pair discover that a dynamic woman named Annie (Robbie) may be more involved than they had originally suspected.
I almost fell asleep reading that, but I also realize there's probably more to this story than meets the eye (I remember blowing off Kill List for this exact reason at one point, and look how that turned out). Twists, turns, double-crosses and whatnot. If nothing else, the cast is reason enough for me to be curious about Stein's film. I'm particularly interested to find out how Myers factors in here.
No word on a release date or who'll be distributing, but the film's shooting right now (in Hungary, of all places!), so it probably won't be long until we learn more. Stay tuned.
