Jennifer Connelly Joins Joseph Kosinski’s NO EXIT

Kosinski's firefighter drama gains another talented cast member.

You'll recall that Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy, Oblivion) is currently knee-deep in pre-production on No Exit, a firefighter drama based on the Yarnell Hill Wildfire disaster of 2013, and that the director's been wrangling together a truly impressive cast for the film.

Well, today Kosinski's cast got another serious upgrade in the form of Jennifer Connelly, who's just signed onto the film in an unspecified role. She joins Josh Brolin, Jeff Bridges, Miles Teller, Taylor Kitsch, and James Badge Dale.

This movie's probably going to be something of a bummer (the disaster claimed the lives of 19 firemen as it spread over 8,400 acres), but I'm intrigued by the star power this project is drawing in. Maybe this'll be the film that finally proves Kosinski can deliver something beyond (admittedly incredible) CGI visuals? Fingers crossed. You'd hate to see a cast like this go to waste.
