Martin Starr Becomes The Latest Funny Person Added To The Cast Of SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

This cast just gets better and better.

We just found out that Logan Marshall-Green signed on to appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming (he's playing a secondary villain of some sort), and now we've got more casting news: frequent scene-stealer Martin Starr, currently of HBO's Silicon Valley, has also joined the cast.

Starr - who you might also remember from Party Down, last year's Amira & Sam, and a ton of other great projects - is just the latest funny person to join the Spider-Man: Homecoming cast, following Michael Keaton (presumably playing Vulture), Donald Glover (no idea who he's playing), and Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland (legit funny in Civil War).

There's no indication as to who Starr will be playing in Jon Watts' film, but - as pointed out by the Alamo Drafthouse's Robert Saucedo - maybe he's reprising his legendary role from The Incredible Hulk

Stay tuned for more on Spider-Man: Homecoming, which arrives in theaters next July.
